USE IN COMPETITIONS

“Can APF be used during competitions?’”

APF is safe for use in competitions and has been used by horses and riders at the Pan American Games, World Cup competitions, the WEG (World Equestrian Games), and in horse racing. We have many top riders who use APF in FEI-level competitions, including:

Shannon Dueck, Dressage
Kathleen Raine, Dressage
Lynn Roberts-Johnson, Dressage

Stuart Black, Eventing
Anna Collier, Eventing
Tiana Coudray, Eventing
Bobby Meyerhoff, Eventing
Karen O’Connor, Eventing
Jennifer Wooten, Eventing

Craig Johnson, Reining

Joie Gatlin, Show jumping
Susie Hutchison, Show jumping
John Pearce, Show jumping

“”Will APF make my horse over-excitable or hard to control?”

No. APF is unique in the nutritional support it provides for proper metabolic function. APF insures that your horse has energy available to him when the situation demands without resulting in glucose spikes that can cause excitability. Without APF, the stress of training and competition can “rob” your horse of energy resources, leaving him depleted and at risk for immuno-suppression, ulcers, injury or just poor performance.

Many of our top riders comment that APF seems to give their horses a greater ability to stay focused and responsive, as well as giving them that extra “horsepower” when the stress of a competition appears to be taking its toll on other competitors.
